Our Mission
Our mission is to provide resources to the Haitian population of Evansville and the surrounding area in one central location. These resources will help them achieve independence, increase overall wellbeing, and enhance future community development.
Programs
ESL Classes
We regularly offer free English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at our Center to support language development and confidence.
Interpretation & Translation
Clients may arrange for Haitian Creole interpretation to support medical, educational, legal, or
other appointments.
Resource Referrals
We help connect individuals and families to available community resources, including food pantries, housing support, and healthcare services.
Culture Camp
We host a summer camp to teach children to celebrate their Haitian heritage and deepen cultural knowledge.
Work Readiness
We offer workshops focused on computer literacy, resume building, and workplace communication to support workforce development.
Cultural Training
We provide training to help local businesses and organizations bridge cultural gaps and communicate effectively with Haitian clients.
